When you access our website, STRATO automatically processes server log files. These may contain in particular the following information:

Processing serves the technical provision, stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Visitor-related log files are deleted by STRATO after a maximum of 7 days. Other log data is deleted after a maximum of 12 months. Content data is deleted no later than 2 months after the end of the contract.

Google Analytics 4

Purpose: Website analytics, anonymized evaluation of page views, time on site, origin and device categories in order to improve our website.

What is collected: Page views, approximate location (city level), browser type, operating system, device category, time on site, referrer URL. IP addresses are anonymized by Google Analytics 4 by default (IP masking); a complete IP address is not stored.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). Consent is given via the cookie banner on your first page view.

Transfer to third countries: Google Analytics may transfer data to Google LLC servers in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. In addition, Google has concluded Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) pursuant to Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR.

Retention period: Event data is retained for 14 months by default. Cookies: _ga (2 years), _ga_XXXXXXXXXX (2 years).

Data processing agreement: A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Google (Google Analytics Data Processing Terms).

Opt-out: You can completely prevent data collection by Google Analytics by installing the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout or by selecting "Essential only" in the cookie banner. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Ads (conversion tracking & remarketing)

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Purpose: Placement and evaluation of search ads (Google Search Ads). Conversion tracking measures whether users performed a defined action (e.g. an inquiry by email) after clicking on an ad. Remarketing allows previous website visitors to be addressed again.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent). Consent is given via the cookie banner.

Transfer to third countries: As with Google Analytics. Google LLC (USA), certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, plus SCC.

Retention period: Cookies: _gcl_au (90 days). Conversion data is stored in accordance with the Google Ads settings.

Opt-out: Via the cookie banner ("Essential only") or via the Google ad settings.

This website does not contain any contact forms. Inquiries reach us exclusively by email or phone (see "Contact by email or phone").

Fonts

This website uses only fonts available on your system (system fonts). No fonts are loaded from external servers.

The data is deleted as soon as your inquiry has been fully processed and no statutory retention obligations apply. Business and tax-relevant communication may be retained for longer in accordance with German commercial and tax law (Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO).

Data is disclosed only insofar as this is necessary to handle your inquiry, we are legally obliged to do so, or service providers are used under a data processing agreement.
