Documentation as agreed, inspection reports on request and technical coordination with your processes – from drawing to delivery.
Every part is machined directly from your drawings or CAD data. Dimensional requirements are checked in-house before shipping.
For gauges and machined parts we prepare an inspection report with a nominal-vs-actual comparison of the relevant features on request, measured in-house.
Inspection reports, dimensional reports and other manufacturing documentation are prepared as agreed with you, including for checking fixtures. We have experience documenting for demanding industrial processes.
CAD-IS sees tooling as part of an overall process. Technical coordination with your design and production teams is an integral part of every order.
CAD-IS is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Rheinland (valid until May 2029). The QM system covers production planning, inspection and documentation.
A production tool repeatedly produced false rejects due to play in the sensor mount guide. CAD-IS analyzed the root cause and solved the problem with a targeted geometric modification of the guide bore, without rebuilding the tool. Result: a stable process, no scrap.
A customer changed the design of a tube assembly during running production: a new snap-fit geometry had to be checked from then on. CAD-IS modified the existing production checking fixture to the new part revision, without rebuilding the entire gauge. Result: production inspection back in compliance, minimal use of resources.
Through many years of work for Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers, CAD-IS is familiar with documentation-intensive quality processes and tight tolerances. All our customers benefit from this experience.
CAD-IS supports projects from the sample phase onward. Tooling and customer processes are aligned early, which reduces effort and corrections at production ramp-up.
