Reverse Engineering & Spare Part Manufacturing

You have the part, but no drawings?

CAD-IS 3D-scans the existing part, reconstructs the CAD model and remanufactures the part – all in-house, based on the part you send us. Typical cases: parts without manufacturing documentation, discontinued machine components, wear parts no longer supported by the OEM, and custom designs that only exist as a physical sample – wherever an accurate remake is the most economical solution.

Note: The customer is responsible for verifying that remanufacturing does not infringe any intellectual property rights before placing the order.

01 · Capture
3D scan of the old part
Portable 7-axis articulated measuring arm for complex geometries, including worn parts and hard-to-reach surfaces.
02 · Reconstruct
CAD model & tolerances
We derive the nominal geometry – the wear is not copied, the functioning original is reconstructed.
03 · Machine
5-axis CNC or lathe
Remanufactured as a single part or small batch from standard materials, based on the reconstructed CAD model.
04 · Deliver
Ready-to-use part
Final check before shipping, inspection report on request.
Reverse Engineering Spare part without drawing 3D scan & CAD model Remake wear parts Avoid downtime

The complete chain in-house: scanning, design, machining and inspection without any outside service provider.

The part is the template: you send us the existing part (worn is fine) and it serves as the physical basis for scanning and reconstruction.

Suitable parts: bushings, pins, brackets, housing parts, machine components, replacement and wear parts made from standard materials.

One contact, short lines of communication: an email with photos or a description of the part is all it takes to get started.
